In their words
The people who know this program best are the ones who lived it. Here is what they tell us, in their own words.
I just became a Journeyman with Local 79 after completing the apprenticeship program. I owe everything to Robin and the program, who gave me a second chance at life upon my release from prison. Now I have a career and I'm doing what I love to do. Thanks again, Robin, for seeing the best in me.“I'm a shop steward now — just want to say thanks again for everything.”
Kha-Sun A.
Journeyman, Local 79
That program changed my life dramatically. I don't know where I would be without this. Going through the program was the best thing to happen to me — I'm a Journeyman now. All my hard work paid off.

Everything is going well, thank God. Still working and doing good for myself and my family.
