Curriculum

Connecting to the construction industry students receive an introduction to construction apprenticeship and trades within New York City. Students learn how to conduct themselves in the workplace and construction sites. They learn how to prepare a resume and how to interview for their chosen career. Students learn in classroom math consisting of fractions, decimals, algebra and geometry. Students will learn how to protect and stay safe on worksites, along with health and nutrition.

We will align students with New York City Housing Connect and will assist students with obtaining proper documentation. Students will be given information for childcare providers in their communities. Students can also be connected with mental health services within the borough they reside.

We are looking for students with a positive attitude, effective communicator and strong work ethic.
